This is day 3 in my September Tarot Challenge and today’s prompt is “In What Way or Area Can My September Journey Help Me?”

The Wheel - Lo Scarabeo - journeyThe cards I pulled for this prompt are the Wheel, the World, and the Two of Wands and I’m feeling pumped. Have you noticed how the majority of cards I’ve pulled so far have been Major Arcana? There is a lot of strong energy around these prompts and a lot of lessons I need to learn. This pull echoes the others with a strong sense of being on a journey.

The Wheel is all about impermanence. Everything changes, but second chances also come around. While each journey around is different, the same problems and patterns will appear before me until I finally understand, internalize, and am ready to move on from those lessons.

If you look back, the first day‘s spread had Temperance, Death, and the Fool. All about synthesizing what I know, letting go of what I don’t, and starting fresh. Day two included the Chariot and the Hierophant which pushes movement and understanding (and following) rules.

The Wheel reminds me that change will happen as I continue this journey.

The World - Lo Scarabeo - journeyThe next card is the World and this is a good card to have as a result card. It suggests that these are all steps I’m taking to open up my world which has been so constricted in the past two years. The World is also the last card of the Major Arcana but not the end of it. As the Wheel points out, we are always turning and returning, and the World leads right back to the Fool and begins the journey again at a higher level of ability or even knowledge.

The third card is the Two of Wands.  This is a card that looks out into the world, making plans and partnerships. This particular card is interesting because of the crossed wands in the guise of flaming spears against a wall. Standing against a wall and letting life happen around me will no longer be viable. The changes will force me out, into the world and into partnerships.

Two of Wands - Lo Scarabeo -journeyLots of strong energy here encouraging movement out, away from my insularity and into the real world again. A journey both scary and exciting at the same time!

Yesterday I talked about small changes to my routine. I did pretty well. I tried to mix things up, but not in such a way as to trigger either anxiety or my compulsions. Instead of watching the same old thing, I chose a documentary I’d never seen, and it was great!  (It was Inside the Mind of a Cat on Netflix.) There were a few other things I did and it all worked out well. I plan on continuing today!

So what did I learn from this Tarot pull? That my work this September will assist me in moving both forward and up, towards my higher self.  Looking forward to tomorrow!

What Clients are Saying about Sophrosyne Tarot

I was advised to ask open-ended questions instead of predictive questions which I thought was helpful because I never would have known if it weren’t for the reader. The reader provided the reading along with some advice too so the entire reading was very thorough and explained in an understandable manner.

Everything said was accurate and helpful for me to identify my flaws in order to grow as a person. I have learned a lot about tarot and what it does to help me.
