Today’s oracle card tells us to take action this week! Read on for more!

I chose the Through the Eyes of the Soul oracle deck by Cheryl Yambrach Rose.  I’ve had this deck for about a year, but this is my first time really looking at it.   It appears to be a tribal, neo-Celtic deck and I’m disappointed at the lack of diversity; only thin, white people appear, so it isn’t a very welcoming deck and I would use it only with certain clients.

Take Action

Take ActionThe card shows a figure with a wolf companion. They hold a spear and stand before a standing stone while a storm blows up behind.  The feeling of this card is one of resolution. The figure has just decided to take action but hasn’t actually done anything yet.

The book for this deck says:

Past mistakes can be corrected.
Transmute your history through positive action, now. Create a more promising future.

The story of how the Irish hero Cú Chulainn got his name is included as well as the author’s take on Cú Chullainn’s evolution into an “eco warrior”.

Take Action to Correct Past Mistakes

Despite a certain distaste, the card’s message is a good one. What past mistake is still dogging you? What action can you take today, right now, to resolve that past mistake? By facing our mistakes head-on we might realize they weren’t truly mistakes. We just need to let go of our regret for a different outcome.

On the other hand, the mistake might have truly been a wrong choice. Is there a way to undo that mistake? Can you acknowledge the mistake and take action to rectify it in some way?

Take Action to Resolve Small Mistakes

You know those small, seemingly unimportant mistakes we’ve made in the past that come back to haunt us? The memory of those pop into our head while trying to sleep, or appear as if we are experiencing something good. These episodes are more embarrassing than true mistakes and the only victim is usually ourselves. I have a trick that allows you to take action against these disturbing memories and come to terms with those mistakes.

Take a moment when the memory appears to really look at it in your head. I make it a still shot, a picture, and that picture is made of dust. I mentally blow against the image, scattering the dust and fading the image until it disappears.  While doing this I think “This is the past and I don’t need this memory anymore.”

You may have to repeat this many times before the memory stops popping up.  Sometimes you only need to do it once and I usually feel a sense of relief as the image disappears when that happens.

How do you plan to take action to resolve your mistakes? Start with the mistakes holding you back! Let me know in the comments.

What Clients are Saying about Sophrosyne Tarot

I was advised to ask open-ended questions instead of predictive questions which I thought was helpful because I never would have known if it weren’t for the reader. The reader provided the reading along with some advice too so the entire reading was very thorough and explained in an understandable manner.

Everything said was accurate and helpful for me to identify my flaws in order to grow as a person. I have learned a lot about tarot and what it does to help me.
