The Ace of Pentacles: Manifest your Dreams

The Ace of Pentacles is my card for today. I’m currently working through the Tarot, looking and writing about each card for a class I’m creating. I spend a day on each card, looking at the image from different decks, researching meanings both of the card and the symbols on the card, and meditating. The Ace of Pentacles came at a good time today.

Ace of Pentacles Interpretation

Modern Witch Tarot[/caption]Aces are about potentiality. They are the seed that hasn’t yet germinated, the stone that hasn’t been thrown. Brigit Esselmont at Biddy Tarot suggests that though they are number one, they act more like zero; “they represent the seed of potential”. Aces are generally positive cards and indicate that you can achieve the goal encompassed in that seed with patience, perseverance, and work.

The Ace of Pentacles’ seeds are all about manifesting material wealth and goods. It reminds us that we are of this world, so experience the material world to the fullest and let good things come to you.

All six decks I am working with for this class have the word “seed” in their card interpretation. The seed of the Ace of Pentacles is not a wild plant, able to sustain its growth without human intervention. It is a cultivated plant, one that needs care and constant attention in order to blossom and fruit. Remember, the Tarot may suggest what is to come, but it is up to you to do the work.

Good Luck is Coming

There is an element of luck in the Ace of Pentacles, a potential of an unexpected windfall. The last few weeks have been difficult, what with the snowy, icy weather, COVID restrictions, and a lack of sunshine. Today this Ace warmed me up in a way I hadn’t felt for a while. It reminds me that all I have to do is keep moving forward, the size of the step is immaterial, it is the intention and completion of the smallest things that get us to our goals.
