The last week hasn’t seen many peacemakers here at Sophrosyne Tarot. It was a turbulent week, “full of sound and fury” and sure enough, signifying nothing. Looking back at last week’s oracle card I see that it resonated more than I thought. There were a couple of times I needed support and my Twitter friends came through.
Our oracle card for next weeks comes again from Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet Oracle deck and is #21. Be Also The Peacemakers.
Reason and Passion
Your soul is oftentimes a battlefield, upon which your reason and your judgment wage ware against your passion and your appetite.
Would that I could be the peacemaker in your soul, that I might turn the discord and the rivalry of your elements into oneness and melody.
But how shall I, unless you yourselves be also the peacemakers, nay, the lovers of all your elements?
This really resonates with me as a Tarot consultant. My calling is to be the peacemaker for the souls of others, but all of my counsel and readings are for nothing if my client cannot, or will not, love themselves. It is extremely hard to know yourself, learn to love yourself, and change the parts of you that need changing. Change is work and Tarot merely shows you where you can go, what you can be, what the results of your choices are. Tarot does not replace doing the work yourself.
So the work for next week is to see how you can become the peacemaker in your own self.
Blessings on you for the week ahead!
What Clients are Saying about Sophrosyne Tarot
I was advised to ask open-ended questions instead of predictive questions which I thought was helpful because I never would have known if it weren’t for the reader. The reader provided the reading along with some advice too so the entire reading was very thorough and explained in an understandable manner.
Everything said was accurate and helpful for me to identify my flaws in order to grow as a person. I have learned a lot about tarot and what it does to help me.
