Ten days left in the September Tarot Challenge! Today’s prompt is “What should I be mindful of?”

Three of Wands - Lo Scarabeo - Mindful

I’ve been working on mindfulness this month. Removing old projects that I’m not getting to in the immediate future and limiting my social media has helped a lot with this. So what do the Tarot cards have to say today?

No Major Arcana today! But only one new card appears today. The Three of Wands and Queen of Cups I’ve each had a couple of times before.

Mindful Communication

The Three of Wands definitely has an element of mindfulness. The figure reminds me to be mindful of my projects and communications. I admit to doing some work with only part of my mind on the work. The other part is off thinking about something else. As a coder, this is suboptimal because errors result. But this stretches across all of my life, not just work. The Three of Wands tells me to stay in the moment no matter what I am doing.

Queen of Cups - Lo Scarabeo - Mindful

Mindful Meditation

The Queen of Cups returns to remind me again that meditation is a good example of being mindful. After all, that is what meditation is, putting your entire concentration on one thing, be it a breath, a phrase, or an object. No, I haven’t restarted my meditation practice yet. Yes, I’m going to try again today.

Mindful Craftsmanship

The Three of Pentacles also has a mindful element. In most decks, this card features three people, but in the Lo Scarabeo deck, there is just the lone craftsperson, tapping away at their masterpiece.  Three of Pentacles - Lo Scarabeo - MindfulThey must be mindful because one slip of the hammer, one chisel in the wrong place, and the whole work is ruined.

All three figures are mindful. The Three of Wands is mindful of how they communicate and how their plans work out. The Three of Pentacles is mindful of their actions, focused on the small point where the chisel touches the stone. Finally, the Queen sits between the two, mindful of their emotions and all that goes on around them.

So, what should I be mindful of? The answer seems to be mindfulness itself.

What Clients are Saying about Sophrosyne Tarot

I was advised to ask open-ended questions instead of predictive questions which I thought was helpful because I never would have known if it weren’t for the reader. The reader provided the reading along with some advice too so the entire reading was very thorough and explained in an understandable manner.

Everything said was accurate and helpful for me to identify my flaws in order to grow as a person. I have learned a lot about tarot and what it does to help me.
