Today’s 3-card draw for the week ahead focuses on the question “What problem should I focus on, what is the background to the problem, and what will be the result if I solve the problem?”

The past and future cards are both in the suit of Pentacles, which suggests material objects or money are at issue in some way. The actual “problem” card is the Three of Wands Let’s take a look at the spread:

The Problem to Focus on: The Three of Wands

The Three of Wands is a card of waiting for things to play out. You’ve sent something out into the world, whether it be a proposal, an email, or something else. Now you are waiting for the result. But the Three of Wands can also indicate a lack of focus or direction. You might feel overwhelmed or scattered, perhaps you don’t know the next step, or maybe just haven’t followed through.

For me, I have some doctor’s appointments I really need to get scheduled which I’ve been putting off. Pretty sure this is what that center card represents for me.

The Background of the Problem: The Four of Pentacles

The Four of Pentacles represents security, stability, and material possessions. It is a card of caution and conservatism, and it suggests that you feel fearful or insecure about your current situation.

The Four of Pentacles can also indicate a lack of growth or progress. You feel like you are holding onto your current sense of security and stability, but you are really shutting out what will help you grow. If you are feeling stuck in a rut, it may be helpful to take some risks and try new things. Remember that growth and progress are not always comfortable, but they are necessary for a fulfilling life.

Relate this card back to the “problem” card. For me, money is an issue – the appointments are going to cost me out-of-pocket expenses plus I need a new CPAP machine and I’m not sure how much insurance will cover it.

The Result if I Overcome This Problem: The Ace of Pentacles

The Ace of Pentacles represents new beginnings, abundance, and prosperity. It suggests that you are on the verge of a major breakthrough, but also indicates a need for patience and perseverance. If you are working towards a goal, it is important to remember that success takes time and effort. Be willing to put in the work because the rewards will be worth it.

For my issue, this card tells me that if I just make the calls and get things sorted out, both issues will work out in my favor and likely both in a personal and material way. In other words, insurance will likely cover more than I think it will.

Overall Summary

Overall, the cards suggest that you are currently facing a challenge or obstacle in your life. This challenge may be related to a project or goal that you are working on, or it may be related to your overall sense of security or stability. However, the cards also suggest that you are on the verge of a major breakthrough. If you are willing to work hard and persevere, you will be able to overcome this challenge and achieve your goals.

In a nutshell: Get out of your secure space, face up to your problem and things will work out better than you thought.

Additional tips for overcoming the Three of Wands problem:

  • Stay focused on your goals. It can be easy to get sidetracked when you are facing a challenge, but it is important to stay focused on your goals. Remember why you are working so hard and don’t let anything discourage you.
  • Be patient. Overcoming any challenge takes time and effort. Don’t expect to see results overnight. Just keep working hard and eventually, you will achieve your goals.
  • Don’t be afraid to ask for help. If you are struggling to overcome a challenge, don’t be afraid to ask for help. There are people who care about you and want to help you succeed.

What Clients are Saying about Sophrosyne Tarot

I was advised to ask open-ended questions instead of predictive questions which I thought was helpful because I never would have known if it weren’t for the reader. The reader provided the reading along with some advice too so the entire reading was very thorough and explained in an understandable manner.

Everything said was accurate and helpful for me to identify my flaws in order to grow as a person. I have learned a lot about tarot and what it does to help me.
