The Queen of Wands wouldn’t be the first to welcome you at a party; she’d be the one in the middle of the floor, surrounded by everyone vying for her attention. Today we’ll take an in-depth look into this complicated card.

The Queen of Wands: The Ultimate Extrovert

Queen of Wands

Gregory Scott Tarot

I don’t have a great relationship with the Queen of Wands. As a Tarot Queen, she is mature and has a deep understanding of herself and others. Nurturing and caring when she wants to be, she is an influence behind the scenes but loves to be the center of attention. Wands represent ire, passion, energy, destruction, renewal, spirituality, enthusiasm, beliefs, or opinions – and she has a lot of all of this!

The Queen of Wands loves being the center of attention. She is very social and knows everybody (and all of their peccadillos as well). Don’t get me wrong, the Queen is not evil or “bad”, she just knows what she wants and goes after it without a lot of thought or care as to who or what she hurts.

The Queen of Wands As Helper

Queen of Wands

Triple Goddess Tarot

For me, the Queen of Wands is a great acquaintance. She is the type who can hook you up with everything you need, from a great, inexpensive plumber to opening night tickets at the theatre. She’s a good listener and remembers everything you say, so be careful in sharing your deepest thoughts and desires with her. Her independence and charm can spur your own efforts to greater achievements.

As a partner or lover, the Queen of Wands is passionate and maybe a little kinky, but don’t expect her to stick around long. There is no tolerance for boredom, quiet, or solitude for this Queen. She’d rather be out meeting people or being on stage, whether as an actress or the founder of a company.

The Queen of Wands as an Obstacle

Court cards can depict real people in your own life. I like to envision this Queen as Kris Jenner. Social butterfly, charming, and friendly as long as you work with her. Cross her and you’ll experience her wrath! She can be vindictive and downright catty, sharing your secrets if she thinks you need taken down a peg.

The Queen of Wands also tells you to get in touch with your shadow side, the side you hide away, may not look at, and certainly don’t show to others. She encourages you to work with this side and bring it forward, just like that black cat that appears most often with her.

The Queen of Wands for You

As an introvert, the Queen of Wands’ energy makes me nervous. The last thing I want or need is to be the center of attention. On the other hand, she does epitomize self-confidence, energy, taste, and up-to-date fashion and living. She’s fun, for sure! You can probably tell she’s a great ally and when this card appears in a reading you need to take a look first at yourself. How do you use the Queen of Wand’s energy? Do you need to step forward and take charge of something? Sweet-talk someone into a favor or a contribution to your non-profit? Those on stage, like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Oprah, Madonna, Elton John, Kanye West, or Randy Rainbow channel this energy, as do a lot of influencers.

Just like the divas mentioned, you can use this energy in both good and bad ways.  Take care that your wants and desires don’t override those of other people.

What Clients are Saying about Sophrosyne Tarot

I was advised to ask open-ended questions instead of predictive questions which I thought was helpful because I never would have known if it weren’t for the reader. The reader provided the reading along with some advice too so the entire reading was very thorough and explained in an understandable manner.

Everything said was accurate and helpful for me to identify my flaws in order to grow as a person. I have learned a lot about tarot and what it does to help me.

OOOoooh, interesting card to pull today! I am just getting to know these cards the last few years and that one makes me feel the same as you. As an INFJ, I have the intuitive business skills, but I don’t like the center of attention. It is a bit tricky to find a good balance. Thank you for sharing. Sending lots of love. Jaime
