Today’s prompt for the September Tarot Challenge is “What is required to grow past initiation, toward creation, to reach finalization?” If you think this is strange phrasing, I do too! I’m simplifying it a bit to “How to grow past initiation towards creation.” In other words, how do I end the starting phase and actually start making something?
Creation After Destruction
The Ten of Swords deals with endings and new beginnings. It tells me to walk away from the past and start out new. This card appeared on Day 5 of this challenge where the question was “what is something that I would be better off without for now.” It returns to remind me to keep looking forward, not back. Growing past initiation towards creation requires leaving things behind.
Creation Though Distillation
Temperance comes next and represents mixing disparate things together to create something new. This card reflects the new systems I implemented during the past three weeks. Using the Build a Second Brain method results already are happening. The idea is to collect whatever catches my interest, thoughts, ideas, quotes, and passages from everywhere around me. During the organization step, each item turns into a nugget of information that is used in the future for all kinds of projects. Temperance is the perfect card for this process of creation, and its appearance is a sign that I am on the correct path.
Digging Deeper
Yesterday the Ace of Cups appeared in a spread to encourage me to restart my meditation practice. Today it is here to remind me to dig deeper, use my intuition and allow it to take me in different directions with my creativity. Meditation helps me dig deeper by opening up access to my intuition. Everything connects together, and I’m amazed every time I see it happen.
So, I’m still on the right track and I’m encouraged to keep going and dig deeper. I like this message!
What Clients are Saying about Sophrosyne Tarot
I was advised to ask open-ended questions instead of predictive questions which I thought was helpful because I never would have known if it weren’t for the reader. The reader provided the reading along with some advice too so the entire reading was very thorough and explained in an understandable manner.
Everything said was accurate and helpful for me to identify my flaws in order to grow as a person. I have learned a lot about tarot and what it does to help me.
