When I took a few months off from my blog I thought to use the time to create some kind of publishing calendar with daily, weekly, and monthly topics. Well, guess what? That didn’t happen at all!

Current Blog Categories

blog organizationI enjoy my blog and have blocked out some time over the next week to look at what other Tarot bloggers do and how I can provide good content. Currently, my blog categories are:

Card Exploration

This is where I write about individual cards and their meanings. I have 24 posts in this category so far but just noted there are some repeats.

Life Skills

These blog articles cover non-Tarot skills, but I’ve been pretty hit-and-miss with this category.

New YearMeditations

I like this category and will definitely keep posting weekly meditations. I’m wondering though, should they be on a specific day each week?

Music, Art, and Other

This covers a multitude of non-Tarot topics that aren’t really life skills, as well as some of my favorite music.

Tarot Deck Reviews

I’m already planning more Tarot deck reviews. The ones I’ve already posted get a lot of hits and I’m thinking of reviewing Oracle card decks here as well.

Tarot Philosophy

A catch-all category that includes my thoughts on how Tarot works.

Tarot Readings

The category for all of my blog posts that involve Tarot readings. This has some overlap with some other categories.

Tarot Spreads

Blog articles about Tarot layouts and how to interpret them. This is a little-used category.

Week Ahead

The blog category for all of the “what is coming up” type of readings. My intention is to keep this up and create a blog post every Sunday to look at the week ahead.

Your Input

blogI read all comments and they often generate new articles, but now I’m asking directly.
  1. What blog categories or themes are you interested in?
  2. Which current category do you think could be removed?
  3. What are you interested in most about Tarot?
Finally, do you think it would be useful to have a pinned blog post with links to other pages and posts about common questions such as how I got started reading Tarot, the history of Tarot, how I think Tarot works, etc? I’m looking forward to your input in the comments! You can also email me directly at readings@sophrosynetarot.com.

What Clients are Saying about Sophrosyne Tarot

I was advised to ask open-ended questions instead of predictive questions which I thought was helpful because I never would have known if it weren’t for the reader. The reader provided the reading along with some advice too so the entire reading was very thorough and explained in an understandable manner.

Everything said was accurate and helpful for me to identify my flaws in order to grow as a person. I have learned a lot about tarot and what it does to help me.

I don’t know much about Tarot cards and I think having links in your blog would be an excellent idea.

A FAQ page is a great idea! I’m going to work on that.
